Bluegrass, Blues and Barbecue Region site promotes western Kentucky heritage

There’s a new Red Pixel Studios site on the Web. The Bluegrass, Blues and Barbecue Region Web site is live at www.bbbregion.com.  Commissioned by the Green River Tourism Committee, the site promotes the region’s heritage of bluegrass and blues music and its distinctive style of barbecue.
The site provides a full menu of activities to satisfy nearly any interest, including an abundance of intriguing museums, nature parks, golf courses and farms. A calendar enables visitors to plan for the numerous festivals that celebrate the area’s distinct culture.
No trip to the region is complete without healthy sampling of the area’s delicious barbecue. The bbbregion.com Web site offers a culinary tour like no other, with information on all the barbecue joints in the area as well as other specialty dining should you somehow satisfy your appetite for succulent mutton, savory chicken, mouthwatering pork and flavorful burgoo.
Shoppers will be excited to browse the directory of antiques sellers, where hidden treasures await.
Visitors will also find listings of lodging options ranging from beds-and-breakfasts to hotels to campgrounds.
The Bluegrass, Blues and Barbecue Region is composed of Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, Hopkins, McLean, Muhlenberg, Ohio, Union and Webster counties.
The bbbregion.com Web site was designed and developed by Red Pixel Studios of Owensboro.
