Oak Grove Now Available on the App Store

Visitors and residents of Oak Grove now have a valuable resource at their fingertips.  Red Pixel Studios and Oak Grove Tourism Commission announced today that the Visit Oak Grove App is now available on the App Store for free download.

The popular destination known as “Kentucky’s Rising Star on the Border” developed the Visit Oak Grove App with Red Pixel Studios of Owensboro, Ky., so that visitors can get information with a few flicks of their finger using their Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

A product of Red Pixel Studio’s RPS | infoApp solution, the Visit Oak Grove App enables users to find out about the area’s many wonderful attractions – from the numerous outdoor recreational areas to the museums displaying the heritage of Fort Campbell – as well as options for lodging and dining.

The Festivals section provides users a convenient way to plan to attend their favorite celebrations, while the Events section lets them know about special movie nights or where their favorites musicians are performing at any of the many music venues around Oak Grove.

The App also keeps fans up to date with Announcements and News from Oak Grove, so they can be sure to get the latest information and reminders of upcoming happenings.

Considering today’s demand for the most current and up-to-date technology, The Oak Grove Tourism Commission wants to offer visitors a convenient way to learn about everything this area has to offer.
“The App really provides us a tremendous way to connect visitors with the community of Oak Grove,” said Traci Cunningham, Executive Director, Oak Grove Tourism Commission.  “It lets us use the latest technology toward fulfilling our mission to promote a community that encourages quality of life for residents and tourists by facilitating an efficient, enjoyable and safe visitor destination.”

The Oak Grove Tourism Commission selected Red Pixel Studios to develop the App because they were able to incorporate the numerous features they wanted at a very low cost.
