Red Pixel Studios donates site for Goodfellows Club of Owensboro to help disadvantaged children at Christmas

Red Pixel Studios is proud to announce the launch of a new Web site for the Goodfellows Club of Owensboro, which has been reaching out to Daviess County's less fortunate children since 1916, providing clothing, shoes, coats, dental care, and Christmas joy.

The Goodfellows Club works year-round to provide resources and services to help meet the physical, social and psychological needs of disadvantaged schoolchildren, but they are especially known for their efforts at Christmas. The club was founded by Lawrence Hager around the holiday to help needy children because, in his words, "No child should be forgotten at Christmas."

Red Pixel Studios donated the design and development of the Web site, at www.goodfellowsclubofowensboro.com, as part of our continuing efforts to improve the community in which we work and live.  We direct our charitable efforts to groups that support the well-being of children or contribute to education and the arts. The opportunity to work with an organization as storied and meaningful as the Goodfellows Club is extremely gratifying.

We invite you to visit the new site to learn more about the work of the Goodfellows Club and encourage you to find a way to help fulfill their mission. We wholeheartedly agree, "No child should be forgotten at Christmas."
